EDIT (5/13/09): So, it looks like there are scanners on campus and even though I'm not taking classes this summer, I do live and work pretty close to campus so all is not lost. As long as they don't require me to be an active student to use the scanners (and as long as I can actually figure out where the scanners are) I should still be able to scan stuff. All is not lost! Woohoo! Anyway, once I finish with my job hunting (I need at least two to afford my apartment) I'll (hopefully) have some inspiration to draw again. And yes, I'm still working on that comic. You have no idea how much work moving and supporting yourself is if you complain about it not being done. Will be done soon and I love you all. Laters.

Guess what stupid thing I've done now. So, for those of you who don't know I got done with my finals on Friday. That same day I moved out of my dorm and into my new apartment (which isn't so new and it's actually a sublet with roomies and my new room is smaller than my dorm, but it's new for me). However, I have very little room in the new apartment so here I was thinking 'what can I send back to my parental units in Florida to save space here... what do I really not need for the summer?' So of course I sent back my winter jacket and winter clothes as well as some things I never wear. I also realized that I had no desk in the new place and I have this freaking ginormous printer so (since I don't need to print anything in the summer) I sent my printer down to Florida (I live in Pennsylvania FYI).

Here's where the stupidity comes in: my printer was an all in one unit which included (drum roll please) my scanner! So my scanner is on the other side of the country and I can't scan any new work into my laptop to edit and upload. Yay me! Anyway, I'm going scanner hunting soon. I don't have any monies right now to buy one (not even a cheap one for summer use) so I'm hoping one of the libraries in town will have one available for use. We'll see.

If I can't get a scanner I apologize in advance and I guess I'll have to give you guys more photography this summer instead. We'll see if I can get any good shots.

I'm editing a Harry Potter fan-comic right now. It's got a ways to go, but look for it soon

I'm also doing a fanfic made from one of the forums on my journal found here [link]
The premise of it is that I make a chapter out of every "word of wisdom" found in the forum. Anyone can post to it as long as they continue the numbering. As in if the last post ended with number fifteen, yours must start with number sixteen and so on. I've written a few of them already. It will not be posted on dA but it will be posted on my FFN page when I feel I've gotten far enough into it. My FFN page can be found here [link]

I was actually tagged for the man-self meme by :iconchiroxsox: and I'm working on it, but I'm having a hard time since I don't quite have the drawing skills necessary to complete it. We'll see how it goes.

I'm going to do these three memes and all around the same time. They're just about my cellphone, room, and bag so it shouldn't be too hard.

And (finally) I'm also working on the Curiosity Core Meme (from Portal) . This one is great and you don't have to have played the game to complete it since it's not about the game at all. You just draw either a Portal character or an OC saying the lines written in the boxes (they're GLaDOS's curiosity core/orange eye's lines). It's a lot of fun and it's helping me a lot with my drawing.

It's no problem at all. I think your drawing did a great job showing what Anita looked like (from her description in the books). Although the pink shirt made me laugh a little (because of what she said in The Laughing Corpse). It's a fabulous drawing in and of itself. Your art is fantastic. So I should really be thanking you for posting it on dA. Otherwise I would have never had the opportunity to see it. So thanks to you.
